Information used by the app
SpeakingOf uses Shopify store details and app configuration required to show and manage storefront conversations. The app stores conversation content, participant information available through Shopify or supplied in a conversation, message reactions, image attachments, and support requests.
Use of information
The information is used for the SpeakingOf features configured by the merchant: storefront conversations, support workflows, moderation, Inbox, customer context, analytics, and app configuration.
Merchant controls
Merchants configure spaces, access rules, storefront content, and visual settings in Shopify Admin. Those settings determine where conversations appear and who can view or participate in them.
Customer requests
For a conversation shown on a merchant’s storefront, contact that merchant first. The merchant controls the store configuration and the customer-facing conversation settings in SpeakingOf. Questions about SpeakingOf can be sent to hello@speakingof.app.
